WWILD’s You and Me Relationships Group Starting Soon
The You and Me Relationships Group is a small group of people with intellectual disabilities who come together in a weekly group with ‘facilitators’ (WWILD workers) to talk about how to be happy and safe in relationships with family, friends and partners.
Starting Date: Thursday 22nd May
Time: 10am – 12pm.
Location: WWILD’s Holland Park Office
The group meets for two hours over ten weeks to talk about:
- Meeting new people
- Being a good friend
- Safe touch
- Saying “NO”
- Feeling good about yourself
- Dealing with problems and arguments
- What makes a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ relationship
If a person does not live on the southside please contact us anyway to talk about options.
The group will be run by 2 WWILD workers and 1 WWILD peer worker.
