Location: Brisbane North
Employment Type: Permanent Part-time 30 hours/week

Role: WWILD Trauma Counsellor (maternity leave locum)
Location: Brisbane South
Employment Type: Part-time 30 hours locum 1 year term from end June 2025.

WWILD PD_Trauma Counsellor (Level 5) Mat leave locum position April 2025
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trauma Counsellors to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality and client-focused therapeutic counselling to individuals with intellectual disabilities at risk of or who have experienced acute or historical sexual violence or other crime or exploitation.
- Use diverse and creative trauma-informed methods to help clients understand their experiences, explore safety and justice options and develop coping strategies.
- Contribute to and participate in the development and delivery of community education programs or group work for clients, families, carers and professionals as required.
Both roles will have 1-2 days based at our Wooloowin office (negotiable) to ensure connection, support and development with our team and other counsellors. The Brisbane North position will include 2 days of outreach to Brisbane North locations, and the Brisbane South position will include 2 days outreach Southside locations.
